BID 2015 Tripel

Today, Belgians celebrate 184 years of independence and we’re celebrating right along with them! What better way to toast their independence than with beer, specifically our new Belgian Independence Day 2015, a dry-hopped tripel. This 9.2% ABV ale is dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, a hop noted for its citrusy tangerine flavor and aroma.

BID 2015 Tripel pours golden with a slight copper hue, a pure white head, fine carbonation, and great lacing. The aroma is sweetly fruity with Ommegang yeast spiciness. Hop aroma is well integrated while aromas of banana, bubblegum, apricot, tangerine, orange peel, and melon blend with a lightly bready malt character, and just a bit of spiciness peeks through. The taste is honeyed malt, sweet underlying citrus character, bready malt, and gentle spiciness. The finish is dry with lingering citrus and fruit.

BID 2015 Tripel pairs well with ratatouille, risotto, salami, and wild game. Available now on draft and in 750 bottles throughout the Ommegang distribution network.

Cheers and Happy Belgian Independence Day!

We tried it a little while ago and it was fine but you’re right-it’s not currently pulling up search results. We have a note into tech support so they can take a look. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Charlie, our beer finder is down for unscheduled maintenance (Thanks, Murphy! We JUST announced this beer!) but I have a note in to the sales rep in your area asking for places near you that have this in stock. They’ll contact you directly. -Allison
