Queen of the Seven Kingdoms

Hi, friends.

The second beer in our Game of Thrones-inspired Royal Reserve Collection, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, launches nationwide on Friday, June 29. If you are in the Cooperstown area, you’ll be able to purchase Queen of the Seven Kingdoms at the brewery store beginning at 11 am on Friday, June 29 and there will be a four bottle/customer limit.

It is illegal for us to sell online or directly to customers who are not at the brewery, so we cannot take any online orders. We sell the beer from the brewery to distributors who then sell to retailers (bars, grocery stores and other locations). There are a few websites that are allowed to sell beer directly to fans and we will post those them here as they come in.

Ommegang is currently not distributed in Mississippi, Montana and Wyoming so unfortunately Queen of the Seven Kingdoms will not be for sale in these states. Distributors in the following states have ordered this release: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WV, plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S.V.I. Outside of the United States, these beers may only be available in Ontario and Alberta, Canada. There is not currently a release date set for Canada. We’re working with our distributor there and we’ll update this post when/if we have one.

We have a  beer finder that will show the locations that the beer has been sold to. The beer finder works by aggregating sales data from the distributor and it is uploaded often a few days after the sale into the account. With the great demand it might even be sold out by the time it is listed on our beer finder, so we strongly encourage you to call your local retailers to ask about availability before you drive around to find it. When you do find Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, you can tag a photo of the beer with #GoTxOmmegang on social media to let friends know where you found it.

We can’t wait to hear that you think about our latest Game of Thrones-inspired release. Cheers!

Can’t wait to continue my collection. I have all the GOT beers……except for Three Eyed Raven. Missed out on that one and it really bums me out. I’m lucky because I’m a delivery driver for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Las Vegas, so I know exactly when it hits the shelves. Love this line of beers! Great job Ommegang!

I just happened upon this beer this past weekend, while visiting family in Pennsylvania. Is there any way to get the name of and purchase 1st in the series anywhere in NC?

    Thank you!

Hi, Suzanne. The series began in 2013 with Iron Throne Blonde Ale and we’ve released two beers a year each year since then. The first beer in the Royal Reserve Collection is called Hand of the Queen and you might still be able to find it in stores. Check our beer finder and search near your zip code: http://ommegang.com/blog/beer-finder/

Hello there! I was wondering whether you are considering the possiblity of selling the Game of Thrones beers in distributors in Europe and specifically in Greece. Please, let me know so that I can provide the contact info of the interested party.
Thank you very much in advance.
    Best Regards,

Please please please bring back Bend the Knee. It is quite simply the greatest beer Ive ever had. Return it to the people!

One of our favorites too. We don’t have plans at this time to re-release Bend the Knee but we never lose a recipe.

Sometimes online retailers like Craftshack.com carry these beers and they can ship to customers.

Hi. Big fan of your GoT beer. I live in Texas but the Beer Finder tool shows there is no Queen of the Seven Kingdom available down here. Any idea when we might get it?

About 600 cases of Queen of the Seven Kingdoms were picked up by the distributor at the beginning of July so they are probably still rolling out the beer in Texas. The beer finder is built on sales data so until the beer starts selling in a store (and that information is reported back to the system) we can’t tell you where exactly it’ll be sold. You can use the beer finder to look for Ommegang retailers near you and contact them to see if they’ll be getting it in stock.

Did you make less of this than previous GoT iterations? I cannot find this at any of my usual places here in Colorado. One had no idea it was even coming out.

These are fairly large releases, and both the current beers are showing as for sale in Colorado. It may be that the distributor ordered less, or is sending to a different set of retailers so it’s not available in the stores where you’ve purchased it in the past. If you’d like to email your zip code to info@ommegang.com, we can help you find places to purchase the beer if the beer finder isn’t showing you any options near your zip code: http://ommegang.com/blog/beer-finder/
