Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale

seven_kingdoms_750ml_bottleWe’ve finished brewing our latest Game of Thrones-inspired beer, Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale, and the beer is now working its way from distributors to your favorite stores and bars. There are always a lot of questions about how to get the Game of Thrones-inspired beers and it’s proved helpful for us to post search tips for both pro-beer seekers and those new to the sport. We know there’s a huge demand for this beer series so we brewed 74 brews of Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale which is the equivalent of about 545,000 bottles or nearly 90,000 gallons of beer.

Unlike previous releases in our Game of Thrones-inspired series, there’s no specific release date for Seven Kingdoms. The beer is now available in many locations across the country. If you are in the Cooperstown area, Seven Kingdoms is in stock at the brewery store and we’re open daily from 12-5 pm.

Ommegang is currently not distributed in North Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, West Virginia, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming so unfortunately Seven Kingdoms will not be for sale in these states. Outside of the United States, Seven Kingdoms will be available in Ontario, Canada. There is not currently a release date set for Canada. We’re working with our distributor there and we’ll update this post when we have one.

We have a beer finder that will show the locations that the beer has been sold to. The beer finder works by aggregating sales data from the distributor and it is uploaded often a few days after the sale into the account. With the great demand it might even be sold out by the time it is listed on our beer finder, so we strongly encourage you to call your local retailers in advance.

It is illegal for us to sell online or directly to customers who are not at the brewery, so we cannot do any online orders. There are a few websites that are allowed to sell beer directly to fans and we will post those here as they come in. For starters, check out

Lastly, our awesome sales teams are hosting a variety of launch events to celebrate the arrival of the new beer. You can visit our event page on Facebook to see if there’s an event near you.

Stay warm. Winter is coming.

At last! I am ready to try this new brew from one of the best lines of beer! Maybe I’ll have it with Two chickens…..

I just found your Iron Throne Blonde Ale today at my local grocery store. I was very happy to see it and I look forward to Seven Kingdoms. It’s great that you’ve increase production to keep up with demand. I missed out on your first three Game of Thrones beers because of limited supply. You might consider reintroducing the first three for those of us that missed out the first time.

    Keep up the good work!

Hi, Jimmy. We did re-release two of the first three beers. Both Iron Throne Blonde Ale and Take the Black Stout were re-released last fall. No plans to re-release any of the other beers at this time but we’ll keep you posted. Cheers!

I recently purchased the Iron Throne but I had no idea that it was a re-released brew.
I’m very happy to know that I was able to snag a brew I missed in the beginning. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find a few bottles of Take the Black Stout on a shelf somewhere. I’ll have to keep a sharp eye open for it.

        Thank you!

I was actually able to find ‘Take the Black Stout’ and ‘Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale’ this week after checking the coolers of a few local H.E.B. food stores.
Fire and Blood is the only Game of Thrones brews I haven’t had now.
Valar Morghulis was definitely one of my favorites but Take the Black Stout is my new favorite.
I can only hope you will surprise us with a second run of Fire and Blood and Valar Morghulis some day soon.

        Thank you!

Are you going to redo the fire and blood beer ? It was the best GOT beer by far. Can’t wait to try the hoppy wheat!

Hi, Shea. At this time there are no plans to re-release Fire and Blood Red Ale. Enjoy Seven Kingdoms!

I love The Seven Kingdoms! I was skeptical at first because it’s color is light amber… I’m a dark beer lover. But, The Seven Kingdoms has a rich, deep flavor that pairs great with steak & salad (which I had with it). I love all the Game of Thrones brews, and this one does not disappoint!

The Three-Eyed Raven is by far the best I’ve had! so much so, that I saved one bottle of it I found a few months back just so I could drink it for the return of season 6 and Bran! Hope you brew a new batch! thanks
